Ted Thompson, a former NFL linebacker and longtime executive, died Wednesday night. Carroll said Brown wasn't going to play in the preseason anyway. Mark Rodgers, Wilson's agent, revealed a list of teams for which the no trade clause in Wilson's contract would be waived.   Any rift between Wilson and the Seahawks appeared to be repaired by the time the NFL Draft occurred in late April. The easiest way to help prevent the problems with Wilson from reoccurring would be to appease him by securing the services of his blindside protector beyond this season.The offensive tackle market has taken a dramatic jump since Brown signed in 2018.
